Friedersdorf/Marrakesh (rol/ot) And again a new challenge for the German Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport: The racing stable from Saxony will be on start in Morocco for the first time at the second season event of the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) with the races three and four this weekend (6th/7th of April) And the runs in Marrakesh are tough, because the "Circuit Moulay El Hassan“ is a 4.545 Kilometre long city course that is in the racing schedule of the WTCC since 2009 and has to be circled eleven times.

"A city course is always something special, which I experienced myself in the field at the WTCC in Macau at the end of last year“, team principal René Münnich said. "And the heat is very hard as well with temperatures nearly 30° Celsius, we have to be highly concentrated. The most important thing will be to avoid contact to the walls on this course“, the owner and founder of the racing stable from Friedersdorf added. Like his team colleagues, Marc Basseng (Neusalza-Spremberg) and Rob Huff (Great Britain), he wants to fight about positions at the front again in the Seat Léon.

The debut at the WTCC about two weeks ago in Monza (Italy) went well for ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport: Marc Basseng almost got a podium placing and finished fourth at the second race of the Touring Car World Championship and Rob Huff crowned his catch up races from the end of the field with two placings in between the top ten (six and ten). At the overall rankings, Basseng is on position seven, Huff is on ten and at the Yokohama Teams´ Trophy the racing stable from Saxony is on position three. "We want to tie in with the good results in Monza. And this time we hope to be at the front of the field without any external contact at the Qualifying“, René Münnich said.

The team already prepared the three Seat Léon for Marrakesh after the wet races in Monza. „It will be very important to find the right adjustments for the city course and to handle the high temperatures“, Marc Basseng said, who is a driver and the team manager of ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport same time. The GT1 World Champion of last year wants „to get as many points as possible. So the main goal will be to cross the finish line.“ And Rob Huff, the acting Champion of the WTCC, has big plans for Morocco as well: "I can’t wait to get behind the wheel again and to reach even more with my team.“
