The fastest time of both days of testing was set in the Saturday afternoon session with a time of 1:43.52. The REBELLION Racing team garage was full of smiling faces when the checkered flag ended two days of good work.

The main objective was to test a large range of set-ups with the Lola-Toyota fitted with an in-house developed new aero kit, in collaboration with Multimatic, featuring modified front bodywork and new rear bodywork and wing.

The performance was not the main target of the REBELLION Racing squad, but being in front matters !

The team is now returning to its base with a lot of work to get both cars fully ready for the opening round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship at the 6 Hours of Silverstone.

In less than ten days from today, the team's transporters will have to leave the workshop!

REBELLION Racing will be heading to Silverstone with high determination, after being the best LMP1 Privateer in 2011 and 2012, the Swiss team targets no less than the hat trick !

Neel JANI: "We had a good test. We wanted to evaluate the new parts and we are happy with them. It was a good opportunity to do this before Silverstone, the team is satisfied with the work we have done here.

It's always good to be on top of the timing sheet, and we have topped all five sessions ! Now we are heading to Silverstone and we are already all focused on that event."

Nicolas PROST: "I am really pleased after the two days of testing here at Paul Ricard HTTT. We have completed our programme with the new aero package we have introduced here.

With the rain and the drying track on both days we were able to test with the complete range of Michelin tyres and it could be really useful with the coming races at Silverstone and Spa. The pace of the car was good, it is promising for the future."
