SpeedFest 2015 offered live online

Throughout its ten year history, fans who have attended SpeedFest in January have witnessed some of the most dramatic Super Late Model races of all time. Now, if you can’t make it to the grandstands, you will still be able to see the 2015 edition of the event live on 51 TV through Speed51.com. 

In a partnership through Champion Racing Association, Watermelon Capital Speedway and speed51.com, both the 200-lap main event for the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS Super Late Models and the 125-lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance feature event will be seen live on 51 TV on January 25th.

The SpeedFest event will be $19.99 for those who cannot make it to the southern Georgia racetrack in January. Fans who purchase the Sunday event, will receive access to watch qualifying on Saturday. Those who want to purchase qualifying-only can do so for $4.99. There will be a 100-mile blackout radius for the video broadcast.

Supers and pros

Last year, fans that attended Championship Racing Association’s SpeedFest at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia witnessed an epic battle between Chase Elliott and Johnny Sauter. Elliott won his last Super Late Model event before embarking on a NASCAR Nationwide Series championship year. Fans also witnessed John Hunter Nemechek (in photo above) winning his first Pro Late Model feature. 

“This event has evolved into one of the top short track events in the country, and we are proud to team up with Championship Racing Association to bring this event live on 51 TV,” Bob Dillner, Speed51.com Founder said. “This event is more of a kickoff to the asphalt short track season as the best from the north and south converge at Watermelon Capital Speedway for some great side-by-side racing.
