RICHMOND, Va. (April 24, 2012) – Through the first eight races of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, no drivers have been more consistently fast than Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth. Each lead NASCAR with five top-five finishes in 2012 and each have driven their RFR Ford Fusion’s into victory lane. Due to their consistency Biffle leads the Sprint Cup point standings, while Kenseth sits at third; 17 markers behind Biffle. The pair leads a trio of Roush Fenway Fords in the top-10 in the Cup standings, with CarlEdwards sitting at ninth.

“It’s a lot different than when I first started at Roush Fenway for sure,” said Kenseth, who won Roush Fenway’s first Cup Championship in 2003. “It was really different and nobody talked to each other or shared information. It is different today because the cars are almost identical and we share every single thing that goes on from the second they start getting built until the race starts and through the race and everything.

“If you look at the last couple of years our cars run fairly close on the race track,”added Kenseth. “Typically you don't have a guy win and another run 20thand really miss it. It seems like we are really closer to each other than we were in years past.”

Both Biffle and Kenseth have tallied six top-10 finishes in 2012; tying two other drivers for tops in the category in 2012. Edwards has scored five top-10 finishes through the same period.
