Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T - Qualified 10th): "A solid run for the Miller Lite Dodge. I took it easy on the first lap; sometimes you have to slow down to go fast at Dover.

You really have to commit to your qualifying lap and trust your setup. I feel pretty optimistic about our chances tomorrow.

Track position is always key here and we helped ourselves with a good qualifying lap.

"These Cup cars are such a handful. You have to commit to your lap and basically throw an educated guess at you lap. It's like playing hopscotch in the dark; you're jumping into the square but you don't really know where the square is.”

HOW OPTIMISTIC ARE YOU ABOUT TOMORROW? "I'm really optimistic. We've had one of the most consistent race cars out here the last 12 weeks and that breeds a lot of confidence. When you have confidence, you generally run well. I expect tomorrow to be no different."

Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T -Qualified Fourth) TAKE US THROUGH YOUR LAP: “The lap was OK. From inside the car I thought that we put together a pretty solid Lap 1 and tried to get a little more out of it on the second lap.

I wish they had given me my first lap time because I wouldn’t have pushed it so hard on the second one. The Shell/Pennzoil Dodge was really good. The guys have worked hard to give me a fast car.

Our race runs yesterday didn’t have the speed that we needed, so I’m really happy that I qualified well.”

DID THE CLOUD COVER THROW YOU GUYS FOR A LOOP? “Not really. For us yesterday, we were really happy with our car in the first session. In the second session, I just slid around too much in qualifying trim.

All the way up to Turns 3 and 4, we were about a tenth (of a second) faster than all the cars that we were practicing around so we felt that our car was going to be good as long as we could get our qualifying lap in.

The clouds didn’t affect us that much; it was really more about not having as much rubber on the track like we had yesterday.”
