CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 25, 2012) - With eight races remaining in the 2012 campaign, Marcos Ambrose is still looking for his first career Sprint Cup Series oval win and hopes to accomplish that feat this weekend in Dover, Del. Ambrose's last three visits to the "Monster Mile" have proved to be productive as he has recorded three-consecutive top-10 finishes.

Ambrose already has two road course wins on his Cup resume and will look to tame the famed "Monster" as he will make his ninth career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Dover International Speedway.

The Australian native has one top-five and three top-10 finishes at Dover. His best finish (third) came in last year's spring event and his best start (12th) came in last year's fall race. He has completed 3,016 of 3,200 laps attempted at the one-mile speedway. Ambrose enters this weekend's 400-mile race in 17th place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings.

Ambrose's car will have a different look this weekend as DEWALT will return as the primary partner of the No. 9 Ford Fusion.

Marcos Ambrose's Thoughts on Racing at Dover: "I love going to the 'Monster Mile'. It's one of my favorite tracks on the circuit, and I have run really well there the past two years. It's a fast little short track with high banking and it always seems to produce exciting racing. We've only got eight more chances to bring home an oval win this season and I think this weekend we've got a good shot at ending up in Victory Lane with the DEWALT Ford."

Ambrose on Working with New Crew Chief Mike Ford: I'm getting along really well with Mike and I like the change as far as shaking things up. I think it's good for RPM to be trying new things at this point in the season, and I fully support the decision. Mike has had a lot of success over his career, and I'm looking forward to going to Dover and seeing what he's got in store for me. Mike is very focused on performance and racing and that's good. We are still getting to know each other, but that's coming along."

Comments from Crew Chief Mike Ford on Going to Dover: "I'm looking forward to going to Dover with Marcos. It's a track that he runs really well at and a place where he enjoys racing. We've had a rough couple of weeks, but are looking to turn that around this weekend. Marcos has proven he can get around the track and I fully expect our DEWALT team to run well and get a good finish this weekend. We have picked Dover as a track to put extra focus on because we know Marcos has a shot at winning this weekend. He has really excelled there over the past two years and we are going to do everything we can to prepare him with a car capable of winning."

Chassis History: The No. 9 RPM team has prepared chassis No. 743 for this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Dover International Speedway. This DEWALT Ford was run previously this season at Bristol and Darlington.
