With the arrival of the new Le Mans 24-Hours logo the clothing collections take on a whole new look in 2014.

As usual three ranges, Le Mans, Event and Racing Collections, are on offer with clothes for men, women, children and babies, but they have been totally redesigned. The first is part of the roots of the race with a vintage touch of colour. The second is directly linked to the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours and highlights the new signature of the race. The third is purely sports based and is for the racing fans.

And as always the range of products from Stand 21 for professional drivers or leisure motorists: gloves, boots, and fireproof underwear.

At the beginning of June after the test day the official Le Mans 24-Hours clothing supplier Alain Figaret will present his eagerly-awaited new collection (shirts, T-shirts, ties, etc).

But it’s not only the textile side that has been completely rethought. Fans will find a wide range of luggage, accessories (,keys, mugs, Smartphone cases), scale models, original posters or reproductions.

Three new not-to-be-missed books devoted to the Le Mans 24 Hours have just come out. The test day will be just the right opportunity to leaf through them and meet the authors.

"La Legénde des 24 Heures du Mans" written by Gérard de Cortanze (Edifions Albin Michel), 288 pages : 39 euros. This is a dictionary of the Le Mans 24 Hours from the pen one of the great writers of current French literature (Prix Renaudot in 2002). Gérard de Cortanze will sign his book on Sunday 1st June in the Museum boutique at 10h00 and again at 14h00. A second session will take place on Saturday 14th June in the Espace Membres of the ACO club in the Link corner at 10h00 and at 17h00.

"Porsche at Le Mans" by Michel Bonté, 39 euros: The story of the make’s slow upward climb to its first outright victory in 1970. The book is illustrated with some never-before-seen photos. Michel Bonté will hold three signing sessions: Sunday 1st June in the museum boutique at 11h00 and 15h00. A second signing session will take place at 15h00 on Sunday 8th June on Place de la République during scrutineering. A third will be held in the Espace Membres of the ACO club in the Link corner at 11h00 and at 18h00.

"The Le Mans 24 Hours: a human adventure" by Serge Bellu (Editions ETA) 256 pages 69 euros. This luxury edition illustrates the incidents and the people who marked each decade with celebrities, cars and legendary objects.

A reminder: Members of the ACO Club benefit from a 15 per cent reduction on the products in the boutique.
