The Portuguese driver is now on the fifth position in the Championship in GTD class after the fifth place finish in the 24 hours of Daytona. Albuquerque will drive again the Audi R8 LMS GTD #35 of Flying Lizard sharing the car with Seth Neimann, Dion von Moltke and Alessandro Latif.

After the good result in Daytona the main goal of Albuquerque is to keep the team in a good position to fight for the GTD title. However, the Portuguese driver never raced at Sebring.

"I will take the normal time to adapt myself to the track. I have already realized that it is quite technical and bumpy. But if these are the main handicaps, there are positive aspects too. We are more comfortable with the car and we already know each other better, which will allow us to be more effective during the weekend", explains Filipe Albuquerque who will race also in the 24h of Le Mans as an Audi Official Driver.

The goal for this second round of the Championship is to fight for the podium: "We have some limitations because we are not all at the same level on track, but I think with a good strategy we will achieve a good result and I believe a place on the podium. It is not going to be easy but we will fight for it", concluded the Portuguese driver.

The program for the weekend will comprise free practice sessions on Thursday, 13 March, the qualifying session on Friday 14 and the race on Saturday, 15.
