Daytona 24 Hours: Hr23 – Three of four classes still up for grabs
Just one hour remains to decide who wins the 55th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona and three of the four classes are still an open contest.
#5 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi: Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Filipe Albuquerque; #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi: Ricky Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Max Angelelli, Jeff Gordon

Prototype
During the 19th FCY, the leaders dove to pit road for fuel, but no tires. Wayne Taylor Racing opted to swap Jordan for Ricky Taylor behind the wheel, which caused Action Express to easily win the race off pit road. However, the #90 Visit Florida Riley stayed out in a chuck of the dice and was scored as the race leader for the restart. When the green-flag dropped, the two Cadillacs easily overtook the Riley, which pitted soon after.
Filipe Albuquerque was in control until Taylor made a bold move into the Bus Stop, which nearly ended in tears, but instead got him the race lead. He then began to check out, opening up the margin as the time clicked away.
GTLM
During the caution pit stops, Corvette was able to leap ahead of the Fords and take the lead for the ensuing restart. Antonio Garcia was no match for Dirk Mueller though, who muscled his way back by with ease. The Risi Ferrari soon followed, but James Calado was not able to track down the Ford.
GTD
The No. 33 Riley Motorsports Team AMG Mercedes was in control the GTD class, but only just. The No. 29 Montaplast by Land-Motorsport Audi and No. 28 Alegra Motorsports Porsche were breathing down the Merc's neck and eventually, they both made their way by.
Prototype Challenge: If you've been following our hourly reports, you know how this part reads. Performance Tech Motorsports leads with a 24 lap advantage.
But right as the hour came to a close, a debris caution bunched the entire field back up for the final 60 minutes of racing.
