WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 30, 2012) – Jordan Taylor put the No. 75 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GT.R on the pole in the GT class on Saturday in preparation for the running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours at the Glen Rolex Sports Car Series event. Taylor will join co-drivers Matt Bell and Ronnie Bremer behind the wheel of the No. 75 Camaro GT.R this weekend at Watkins Glen International. Stevenson Motorsports is looking for their first win of the season in the GT class, while Taylor hopes for his second trip to victory lane in the GT in 2012. Taylor, along with co-driver Paul Edwards gave Chevrolet and the Camaro their first visit to winner’s circle with Autohaus Motorsports in the Chevrolet Grand-Am Detroit 200 earlier in June.

In DP, Antonio Garcia, navigating the No. 90 Spirit of Daytona Corvette DP around the 3.4-mile, 11-turn road course narrowly missed taking the top spot and will start second in the six hour contest at Watkins Glen International on Sunday. All five of the Chevrolet Corvette DP entries placed in the top-seven starting positions: No. 9 Action Express Racing Corvette DP – 3rd; No. 10 SunTrust Racing Corvette DP-4th; No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP - 6th and No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Corvette DP - 7th.

Following pole winner Taylor in the GT class will be teammates Robin Liddell and John Edwards who will start fifth behind the wheel of the No. 57 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GT.R. Boris Said and Eric Curran driving in the No. 31 Marsh Racing Corvette will roll off from the sixth position.

In the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Matt Bell put the No. 9 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GS.R in the second starting position. Other Camaro GS.R starters are: No. 01 CKS Autosport Camaro GS.R – 4th; No. 6 Mitchum Motorsports Camaro GS.R – 5th; No. 00 CKS Autosport Camaro GS.R – 9th, No. 6 Mitchum Motorsports Camaro GS.R and No. 62 Mitchum Motorsports Camaro GS.R – 23rd.
