It's not a rodeo. It's not calf-roping or barrel racing or eight seconds on a bull, but it IS a high-adrenaline, two-and-a-half hour race at the renowned 3.4 mile, 20 -turn road course just outside of Austin. It's the first time for the CTSCC racing in Texas and there is not a more perfect backdrop than the capital city in the heart of the south.

Making Tracks: Circuit of the Americas, which was completed in the fall of 2012, is considered one of the top racing facilities in North America. It features considerable elevation change and that rare combination of high and low speed corners with medium and long straightaways.

  1. 45 Eagle B+ Foundation/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3: driven by Al Carter and Hugh Plumb. Carter and Plumb drove at a test in December and were pleased with the state-of-the-art facility. Both drivers loved the course but were concerned with the passing opportunities; giving even more importance to qualifying and starting up front for the race. The pair, in their fourth season together, is looking for redemption following a rough season-opener at Daytona where they were the victims of several un-avoidable on-track incidents.

'Rebel' With a Cause: B+ Racing drivers Al Carter and Hugh Plumb and Grammy Award winning producer and owner and driver of Rebel Rock Racing, Jim Jonsin, invite racing and music fans to join them downtown Austin after the race between 8p and 11p at The Old School Bar & Grill where Rebel Rock artist, Leroy Sanchez will perform LIVE during a special evening where a portion of the cash bar proceeds will be donated to The B+ Foundation.

  1. 46 Trim-Tex Drywall Products/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3: driven by Mark Boden and Bryan Sellers. Team owner Mark Boden participated in the team test last winter and was able to attain valuable track-experience and learn the dynamics of a track unlike any other on the CTSCC schedule. Bryan Sellers was not able to attend the test and the Braselton, Georgia native will turn his first laps at COTA on Thursday morning during the open test.
  1. 48 Beverage Flavors International/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3: driven by Charles Espenlaub and Brett Sandberg. Fall-Line veteran Espenlaub will once again partner up with newcomer to the team Sandberg. The pair drove together at Daytona and tested the car last December. Both are eager to visit victory lane at COTA.
