Scuderia Coloni and Kevin Ceccon will keep working together: the team which was the class of the GP2 field in the second half of the season and the Italian young talent will continue their cooperation both in the upcoming Barcelona test (20-21 October) and in the GP2 Finale that will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 12-13, on the famed Yas Marina Circuit.

This all-italian pairing is not a new one as in 2011 Kevin took the wheel of a Scuderia Coloni car on a number of occasions: he drove for the team managed by Paolo Coloni in 4 Main Series events (Barcelona, Monaco, Valencia and Silverstone) and after the end of the Championship in the recent Jerez tests, where he posted the 5th quickest time overall.

Such experiences were very important for Ceccon’s growth as a racing driver, and also thanks to that he was able to clinch the Auto GP overall title last weekend, as a rookie and just ten days after turning 18.

Paolo Coloni: “We are really happy of having Kevin with us already in Barcelona, that way we will have the time to prepare ourselves for the Abu Dhabi finale in the best possible fashion. Those days will be very important as they will give us the chance to both carry-on with technical program on the car and make useful evaluations in 2012 perspective. Kevin, with his young age and an Auto GP overall title won just some days ago, is undoubtedly the most interesting Italian talent, and he has a great potential that he clearly showed in Jerez where he was 5th overall, just two tenths shy of the lead. Our aim is to keep working with him in the same direction”.
