10. Don't get us started on the history and legendary mystique surrounding the Indy 500 (this coming weekend by the way). And this retro Penske Pennzoil livery for Helio Castroneves fits the bill quite nicely.

9. There are few corners in racing as full of history (and crashes) as Brands Hatch's Paddock Hill Bend. It not only looks impossible to take quickly, it actually IS nearly impossible to go through and not scrub off speed...or get a wheel off into the gravel...or two wheels...or crash altogether. We should thank our lucky stars we are still graced with this view (shot during last weekend's Blancpain Sprint Series race) of Brands Hatch.

8. We are suckers for these moody, scene-setting, put you in the seat, photos of drivers waiting in their cars. The photographers at Audi DTM do a stellar job of this every race. A bit of off-camera strobe, underexpose a little, and presto. It works everytime.

6. Yes, another Mercedes SLS AMG you say. Well, other than the fact it's a stunningly beautiful racing machine, both inside and out, sparks elevate this otherwise normal photo into sixth place. We love sparks almost as much as we love flames coming out of exhausts. Power.

5. What can we say about this Marc Marquez kid? Five races and five wins doing antics like this on a MotoGP bike.

4. Pretty sure Joey Logano won't be going too much further with a car looking like that. In fact, we are certain the right front tire is not supposed to be facing that way. Better luck next time Joey, Charlotte Motor Speedway can be brutal sometimes.

3. Someone answer this for us: when was the last time Ken Block won a race? Does he just do cool videos while doing donuts around a guy riding a Segway and flip his car at Rallycross events? No, seriously someone let us know.

2. We have exclusive access to Kurt Busch and his attempt to do the Double (Indy 500 and Coca Cola 600 in the same day) and this is about as nice a frame as you'll ever hope to get. Storytelling at its finest.

1. Love this wild and unique view of DTM cars in the rain. Think about the visibility for the drivers...
