FIA Formula E

The first official Formula E test gets underway this week at Donington Park with both teams and drivers getting their hands on the fully-electric Spark-Renault SRT_01E.

It will be the first time all 20 cars have the opportunity to take to the track in preparation for the season-opener in Beijing this September.

Members of the public who have registered for tickets will be treated to plenty of action along with trackside commentary, live timing and a pitlane walkabout.

For more information including a full timetable please see below.

Tickets

For those that have registered for tickets please print off confirmation and bring it with you on the day to exchange for a ticket to gain entry. You can do this at the ticket exchange booth located near Gate 21.

Opening Times and Viewing Points

The gates will open at 9.00am and last public entry will be at 4.00pm. Once inside you will have access to great spectator viewing areas including the infield where you can watch the cars as they come down the pit straight and into the first corner. Other exciting viewing areas include Hollywood, Craner Curves and the Old Hairpin, all with picturesque grass spectator banks.

The Grandstand located on the infield overlooking the start/finish straight and opposite the pit garages will also be open free of charge. Seating is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.

Parking

Please enter via the Melbourne Lane entrance, and parking will be just outside Gate 21 (please refer to the map below). It is then a short walk to the ticket exchange booth and into the circuit.

Pit Walk

You will also have the opportunity to be part of a Pit Walk which will be open to the public from 1.30pm until 2.00pm. Entrance will be via the Scrutineering Bay but please note that numbers are limited to 400 people.

Food Outlets

The Pitstop Diner will be open from 9.00am where you will be able to purchase food and beverages throughout the day.
