Top 5 performance in Alcaniz for I.S.R. and Jaafar

The second day of the Alcaniz post-season test was very satisfying for ISR. After giving Felix Rosenqvist his F.Renault 3.5 debut on Wednesday, today the Czech team was glad to work with a more experienced driver: Jazeman Jaafar, a 21 year-old from Malaysia, came from a full season in F.Renault 3.5 so he didn't need any time to get acquainted with the car.

Instead, he immediately started working with the team's technical staff in order to adapt the car's setup to his driving style, making the most of the car's potential both on used and new rubber. His laptime progression proved both his talent and the top-notch job carried-out by ISR: in the morning session Jazeman finished in 3rd place with a 1'40"401, while in the afternoon he boasted an even faster pace and posted a 1'39"782 that was worth 4th place, just 0.06 shy of P3. Tomorrow the team will tackle the third and final day of running: Sergey Sirotkin, one of the 2013 season regulars, will be taking the wheel.
