If F.Renault 3.5 awarded a prize for performance consistency, Draco Racing would undoubtedly be the winner on Day 2 of the Alcaniz testing. The Italo-Brazilian team boasted a great team effort, closing the morning and the afternoon session in the top ten with both cars.

Italian rookie Luca Ghiotto, driving the #17 Dallara, was P8 in the morning and P7 in the afternoon, closely followed by Brazilian young gun Pietro Fantin who was 9th quickest in session 3 and 10th in session 4. Both drivers did an amazing job following the advices from the team's technical staff carefully and both managed to improve their performances one lap after the other despite being on different programmes: while Fantin kept following his three-day schedule, Ghiotto worked on a tighter timing as he won't be testing tomorrow.

With just two session to make the most of the car performances the Italian youngster managed to impress posting a 1'39"938 that was just 2 tenths shy of third place.
Tomorrow the team will get back on track for the third and last test day of testing, the final act of the season. Pietro Fantin will be driving the #18 car once again, while Dutch talent Meindert Van Buuren will take the wheel of the remaining car.

Simone Giglio - Team Manager: "I'm really happy with the job we did today. Everything is going according to plan with Pietro, he's building a very strong relationship with the engineers and this allows us to give him a car that suits his driving style better and better. On the other hand, Ghiotto's performance on the other car was surprisingly good. He's quick but together with that he's really professional and focused, he likes driving more than speaking and that's a plus in my opinion. He did a good job despite being a bit tired, as today was his third day of testing, and that says a lot on his potential. I'd be happy to have other chances to work together, we'll surely keep in touch with him".
