Hamilton and Rosberg take their title fight to Germany
After nine rounds, Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are separated by just four points.

To the right, we have Nico Rosberg. The German-born Finnish racer who lives in Monaco (if that makes sense) carries with him 165 points, three victories, eight podiums, and four poles.
To the left, we have Lewis Hamilton. The Brit has amassed 161 points, five victories, seven podiums, and four poles through the first nine rounds of 2014.
Hamilton storms into Germany on the heels of a victory at his home track at Silverstone, as his teammate and rival Nico Rosberg hopes to attain a similar feat this weekend at Hockenheim.
The stats show that the Mercedes duo are fairly equal, although Hamilton seems more prone to reach the top step of the podium. Hamilton has failed to finish two Grand Prixs due to mechanical gremlins while Rosberg has been rock solid with no finish worse then second; that is until the the most recent event at Silverstone where gearbox issues took him out the lead and ended his race prematurely.
We've seen three major momentum shifts between the two racers this year. Rosberg came out of the box swinging, winning the opening round in Melbourne, Australia. His glory was short-lived however. Hamilton came back with a vengance at Sepang, ripping off four wins in succession. In every one of those triumphs, Nico Rosberg was the man forced to settle for second.
Things swayed back in Rosberg's favor in a very bizarre way at Monaco. Rosberg had an off at the end of Q3 and the resulting yellow flags halted Hamilton's charge to take pole from his teammate. Rosberg went on to outrun Hamilton in the following three races.
Rosberg looked posed to win the British Grand Prix and widen his points lead before the aforementioned gearbox issues, which allowed Hamilton to jump in and take home the spoils. Now the two take their struggle for supremacy to the Hockenheimring in Germany, a track that Lewis Hamilton has won at before.
Will Hamilton be able to build on his British GP victory or will Rosberg take the fight back to his teammate and sneak away with the championship lead? We want to know what you think. Take this Motorsport.com poll and let your voice be heard!
