24H Series announces 2017 calendars for all its series

The 24H Series includes seven rounds in six countries on three continents.

Gennep (6 December, 2016) – Now that the 2017 season is approaching quickly, Dutch agency Creventic has finalised its planning. As a result, the calendars for all Creventic endurance race series powered by Hankook can be announced. The 24H Series powered by Hankook includes seven rounds in six countries on three continents.

The 24H TCE Series powered by Hankook has five races in as many European countries and the inaugural 24H Proto Series powered by Hankook has four events in four different countries. New venues on the calendar are the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Italian circuits of Imola and Misano, Portimao in Portugal, Magny-Cours in France, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas in the US and the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

24H Series powered by Hankook

As usual, the 24H Series powered by Hankook gets underway with Creventic’s flagship event, the Hankook 24H Dubai (12-14 January). Following the season opener, the action continues with the Hankook 12H Mugello (17-18 March). The Hankook 12H Red Bull Ring (7-8 April) marks the series’ first visit to Austria. The Hankook 24H Paul Ricard has been moved from its July date to early May (5-7 May). The final three rounds will all be taking place at venues that are new for the Creventic series: the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari will host the fifth season round, the Hankook 12H Imola (30 June-1 July), followed by the Hankook 24H Portimao at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (25-27 August) and last but not least the first Creventic event to be held in the United States, the Hankook 24H Cota USA at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas (9-11 November).

24H TCE Series powered by Hankook

Following this year’s successful inaugural running under Creventic promotion, the Hankook 24H SILVERSTONE (31 March-2 April) will again be the season opener for the 24H TCE Series powered by Hankook. The next round will take teams and drivers to France for the Hankook 12H Magny-Cours (21-22 April). Rounds three and four both are 24-hour races: the Hankook 24H MISANO at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli (7-9 July) and the Hankook 24H Barcelona at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya (1-3 September). The season finale will be held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in the Belgian Ardennes, the Hankook 12H Spa-Francorchamps (6-7 October).

24H Proto Series powered by Hankook

The latest addition to Creventic’s portfolio of endurance race series, the 24H Proto Series powered by Hankook will start its inaugural season with the Hankook 12H Magny-Cours (21-22 April). In July, action continues with the Hankook 12H Misano (6-8 July). The penultimate round is the Hankook 12H Paul Ricard (17-19 August) while the Hankook 12H Spa-Francorchamps (6-8 October) will conclude the season.
