The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship heads to Silverstone this weekend (05 - 07 October) for the penultimate round of the 2012 season. With seven drivers still in with a chance of winning the title, three races and 67 points up for grabs, the on-track action is set to be fiercer than ever. With Silverstone’s kids go free* policy, the weekend will be a fantastic opportunity for younger fans to get into the BTCC motor sport spirit.
The tension in the paddock will be high as Gordon Shedden, Matt Neal (both Honda Yuasa Racing Team), Jason Plato (MG KX Momentum Racing), Andrew Jordan (Pirtek Racing), Robert Collard, Tom Onslow-Cole (both eBay Motors), and Mat Jackson (Redstone Racing) continue to push in the battle to be crowned 2012 Champion.

There will be plenty of opportunities for fans to get close up to the drivers and teams this weekend, with free access to the BTCC paddock, pit lane walkabout and driver autograph session. In addition, there will be a host of off-track entertainment at Silverstone, including the Red Devils Parachute Display Team, Segways, Animal Bike Tour and Silverstone Caterham Hot Rides.
