New circuit for Nicky
A first for the FIA GT1 World Championship as well as for Nicky Pastorelli. The recently opened all new Moscow Raceway will host the 7th round of the FIA GT1. It being a two day event with Qualifying on Saturday and the two races on Sunday and only three hours between the races, it will push the teams to a new level.
Nicky Pastorelli: “I have no idea what to expect but that is true for most if not all of the teams and drivers, as it is a new circuit. I have talked to a number of people who have raced there in different types of cars to prepare myself as good as possible. It being a two day event instead of three will be tough and the team needs to work harder and faster to find the right set up. But I love a new challenge.”
Nicky and co-driver Thomas Jäger are 4th in the Drivers Championship while the All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport team is leading in the Teams Championship.
