PETALUMA, CA – TRG travelled to the Circuit of the Americas for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron GTC race with a special incentive for Texas native driver Ben Keating - win everything this weekend in the GTC class.

After yesterdays "top of the time charts performance", today in qualifying the success continued. Damien Faulkner was able to pilot the No. 66 Viper Exchange/Port Lavaca Auto Group Porsche GT3 to a pole position. So far mission accomplished.

Both Keating and Faulkner spent the entire week testing the No. 66 TRG Porsche at COTA. The testing allowed the TRG team to look at their setup, and by Thursday, the team felt like they made great progress.

After posting fast time in the GTC class on Thursday, then in practice two on friday, the felt great about qualifying. Faulkner's pole lap in qualifying affirmed the confidence by the team.

For Keating and the team, it's a wonderful way to return to return to his home state. He will have more than 50 guests with him this weekend to cheer on the No. 66 Viper Exchange/Port Lavaca Auto Group Porsche GT3.

The fact that the event is in conjunction with the FIA World Endurance Championship makes for a really big weekend for both Keating and co-driver Damian Faulkner.

Kevin Buckler on TRG at Baltimore in ALMS GTC: "Great job by everyone today on the TRG squad. Damien really put in a flyer especially in those crazy conditions, but we have been fastest since we got here.

That's where we intend to stay. Ben has worked hard this year and we had a few curveballs, so being able to this at his home track in front of his home crowd is really cool. The only thing left is a big win tomorrow."

Ben Keating on the results so far and racing in his home state of Texas: "We are really excited by the results so far this weekend! I am from Texas and have over 50 guests attending. So, being on pole will be a great way to start the race tomorrow. We had a great couple of days of testing.

We found some things that we feel good about whether we race in the wet or dry. A big thank you to TRG and to my teammate Damien Faulkner for keeping the faith through the trying times this year."

Ben Keating on claiming pole position: "It was a bit of a mixed weather condition day for everyone. I was able to really push on the first lap. It turned out by pushing on that lap, that this was the best track was the entire session. I'm really happy for TRG and Ben Keating. The TRG team has worked hard through a lot of tough luck. For Ben, it's great for him that we will start on pole position at his home race."
