With his back injury on the mend, Guy Cosmo will join co-driver, Ed Brown and the Extreme Speed Motorsports team as they take to the streets of Baltimore for this weeks American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón for the Baltimore Sports Car Challenge presented by SRT. The eighth round of the American Le Mans Series championship is 2-hour charge through the city's Inner Harbor district.

Though Cosmo and Brown did not fair well at the 2011 Baltimore race, the two drivers of the No. 02 Patrón Ferrari 458 GT are looking forward to revisiting the venue and the abbreviated race length.

“The two-hour format should bode well for Ed and me," said Guy. "We were strong on the streets of Long Beach so we'll have a good setup heading into the Baltimore street circuit. It's a condensed schedule with limited track time, so it's important to be strong rolling off the trailer. We are ready.”

Given the success of last year's event, everyone is looking forward to getting back to Baltimore. The 2011 crowds were incredibly enthusiastic.

“Baltimore was an incredible event last year," added Cosmo. "Though we had some problems that kept us from a good result, the event was so exciting and massively attended, it was still a lot of fun. I've been looking forward to getting back there ever since, but more so to make up for last year and grab a great finish."

The Extreme Speed Motorsports team will appear at Baltimore's Little Italy Wednesday, August 29 to celebrating Ferrari's Italian heritage by taking the No. 01 and No. 02 Tequila Patrón Ferrari Italy 458 race cars on a cruise down High Street. In addition, the ESM drivers will participate in Little Italy’s traditional bocce ball game, meet with fans and spend time in the historic Little Italy community.
