NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Highlights Infineon Raceway 2010 Season Schedule

PINKS ALL OUT Drag Racing Returns in 2010

SONOMA, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2009) - The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' 22nd annual visit to the Sonoma Valley will highlight the 2010 Big O Tires Racing Season at Infineon Raceway, raceway officials announced today.

The raceway will boast one of the most diverse motor-racing schedules in the country, featuring NASCAR, NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, IndyCar? Series, motorcycles, historic car racing and more.

One major addition to the 2010 schedule is the return of PINKS All Out, the highly-popular television program on SPEED. PINKS All Out debuted in the Sonoma Valley in 2008 before a near-capacity grandstand, and after a one-year hiatus, will return Sept. 17-18 in 2010.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will again headline the schedule with the Toyota/Save Mart 350, which will be held on Father's Day weekend, June 18-20. Road-course racing has quickly become some of the most exciting on the circuit, evidenced by Kasey Kahne's dramatic win in 2009. Race fans will also be treated to an earlier start time of noon (Pacific time) on race day, June 20.

Drag racing will play a major part of the 2010 season, as well, highlighted by the 23rd annual FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, July 16-18. Antron Brown broke out the broom in 2009 in Sonoma, sweeping the Western Swing. The following weekend, July 23-25, will be the NHRA Division 7 Drag Races, presented by Korbel, followed by PINKS All Out in September.

The Indy? Grand Prix of Sonoma marks the IndyCar Series' 6th annual visit to the Sonoma Valley, Aug. 20-22, and its only stop in Northern California in 2010. IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti claimed his first Infineon Raceway victory earlier this year.

Infineon Raceway will also host the best in motorcycle road-course racing at the AMA Motorcycle Sonoma Showdown, May 14-16. The weekend will also feature Supermoto, as well as the first-ever electric motorcycle race in the Sonoma Valley with the TTXGP U.S. Championship.

Tickets for all 2010 major events go on sale to the public, Nov. 13. For tickets or more information, call 800-870-RACE or visit www.infineonraceway.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
