DAVE BLANEY, No. 22 Caterpillar Camry, Bill Davis Racing: Finishing
position: 11th
How was your race? "We were doing fine. We kind of backed up one time
and were about 15th, then we took two tires and got track position. We
were kind of hanging on, struggling a bit, but hanging on. I don't know
we just got together with somebody. I went way up the track. I slid the
front tires under the brakes and went way up the track. Then they got
underneath me. I was giving them a hole by sliding up the track so I
don't really know what happened after that."
After the on-track incident, how were you able to rally back to an
11th-place finish? "We came back at least at the end just ran out of
time. We had new tires with 20 to go and everybody else probably had 60
or 70 on theirs. So, we should have went for it pretty good right there,
in fact we should have gone further. At least we finished one -- we've
had some trouble doing that."

JOHNNY BENSON, No. 46 Wyler.com/TRD Camry, Wyler Racing: Finishing
position: 31st
How was your race? "Our race wasn't what we wanted. We made the race and
we ran -- and we were able to get plenty of feedback for the next time,
if we get to run. That's the first race for me in this car and the first
race for the guys at Wyler Racing. I think there's a bunch to learn. The
stuff we learn today will make us better the next time we run. We can't
be excited about the finish by any means. But, after we started working
on it and got it quicker, we were able to run decent times and we felt
good about our adjustments during the race."
On the name being used for the Car of Tomorrow: "I'll call it the 'new
car' now, we can't call it the 'Car of Tomorrow' because we are racing
it right now. It's different to drive, but I think it's not as bad as
everyone says. It will get better when we get the set-up, but it wasn't
terrible."

AJ ALLMENDINGER, No. 84 Red Bull Camry, Team Red Bull: Finishing
position: 32nd
How was your race? "We started the race doing okay and were able to get
the 'lucky dog' and stay on the lead lap. Then we got a couple of laps
down on the long green flag run and were never able to get it back. We
fought all day to gain grip. More than anything it was good for me to
get lap time today. That is the best way for me to continue to learn
these cars. I wish I hadn't made the rookie mistakes I did today, but I
guess that it's all part of the leaning process. As always, I'm proud of
my guys and all the hard work they put in today to get the car handling
better."
